Sir MF prepare bs on mark to market basis mark to market is only for securities but other items such as furniture and fixtures computers are also shown at their market values or Original cost less dep as in other entities

sir i am a student of old couse and purchased claases from ca club india i saw the lecture of mutual fund topic. it is totaally different it is not as per the material given i purchased the classes for nov 17 exams plese help me sir whether mutal funds topic is it updated? if so can u provide the notes as it is not matching with the material given by you

And sir as per the example you quoted in your MF lecture the Dividend we receive of 3rs. is pre acquisition dividend and hence should be reduced from cost of such invt. as per AS-13 so as per AS-13 MF sholud not book such dividend as dividend income and if it so then it would be in contravention of AS-13 also..??

Sir we are not recording dividend income on Declared basis in MF and recording only when the impact of dividend on price is eliminated so it is not in contravention of AS-9??
