The cost auditor appointed under cost audit in companies act,whther he can be in practice or whther cost accountant not in practice can also be appointed as cost auditor?

Under Sec 148 — Cost auditor doing cost audit has to be in practice
Under Sec 138 — CA / CWA / Such Other Professional may or may not be on practice, may or may not be employee can be individual or partnership firm or body corporate
