Should the pricipal auditor modify his opinion if the another auditor has modified his opinion or it depends on the findings and judgement of the principal auditor?

As per SA 600
we have to check materiality of matter at company level
and we also have to think, whether we will be able to resolve this issue at company level
if answer to above is unfavourable then we will have to modify our opinion
