1.) If the current auditor takes break, then is it possible to appoint new auditor ?
2.) If auditor takes break will he/she be exposed to penalty as the have given there concent letter to audit for 5 / 10 AGM as the case may be ?

–yes its possible
–auditors have right to resign under sec 140 no penalty for it

Does rotation of auditor applies to Dormant Companies? In plain text it’s not excluded but in Sir’s Summary notes, Dormant Companies have been excluded from applicability of Rotation of Auditors.
