In the chapter "Audit of CFS", proviso to Rule 6 of Companies (Accounts) Rules states that "If a company is not required to prepare CFS as per AS, it shall be sufficient if the company complies with the provisions on CFS provided in Schedule III of the Act" Here what does the word "complies" mean? Does it mean only disclosure is required? Or Does it mean the CFS has to be prepared?

Sir as per companies act if it’s a subsidiary and as per AS such co. doesn’t become it’s subsidiary then in such case cos. act would prevail over AS and hence consolidation should be done as AS only tells how consolidation is to be done??
