Ratification is simple ordinary resolution which confirms earlier decision of auditor appointment for next 5 AGMs at 2 / 3 / 4th AGM
if you “propose to confirm auditor” in ratification sec 140(4) will not be applicable, because it is applicable only when you propose to change  auditor or propose not to appoint auditor.
So it depends on what you propose in AGM
