Hello …. since shares are now in demat form….is Dividend held in abeyance applicable now as it says that if trf deed not registered then div will be held in abeyance …. but now toh as soon as we purchase shares they are registered in our name  so how come this abeyance will happen , I mean how come we can say shares are not registered in transferree name… pls help thanks 😊

They are large number of companies whose shares are not in demat, think from their point of view.
