It is mentioned that the interim dividend for FY 2017-18 can be declared upto the AGM of FY 2017-18. If the dividend is declared before the AGM then how it would be considered as interim one & why not the regular dividend. If I’m wrong can you please explain me that concept

Dividend which is first proposed and then declared at AGM is regular dividend. So we can say regular dividend is declared only at AGM. 
Dividend which is declared before AGM happens, is a interim dividend.
