In RTP.. SEBI circular, if new auditor is appointed in September 2019 in AGM, and he then signs audit report of Q3 (oct-dec) on 10th January 2020. If he resigns on 14th January 2020, will he need to audit Q4 + full FY ?
Because the exception applies only if ‘THE AUDITOR HIMSELF has signed first 3 quarters report’. Here, he has just signed Q3 report.

·       Notwithstanding the above, if the auditor has signed the limited review/ audit report for the first three quarters of a financial year, then the auditor shall, before such resignation, issue the limited review/ audit report for the last quarter of such financial year as well as the audit report for such financial year.

from above wordings, in above case, as he has not signed audit report for first 3 quarters he is not suppose to do quarter 4 review and annual audit
