 if vouchers, documents, records, registers are available with the help of which we can trace transaction from start till end, it is called audit trail. we can trace purchases from start till end as given Purchase Requisition Note –> Quotations –> Purchase Order –> Delivery Memo –> Stock Register –> Purchase Invoice –> Purchase Book –> Creditors Ledger–> Payment Approval –> Bank Statement
