CA Act was amended in 2006 to allow partnership with other professionals
Corresponding regulations were amended in 2008 allowing partnership with other professionals, providing list of professionals with who partnership is allowed
But practically it was not possible to enter into partnership with other firms because of no corresponding permissions from other professions and no guidelines & form by ICAI to execute it ( this was explained new icai module issued in dec 20, we covered it in amendment)
but 8th july 2021 icai issued revised form 18, which asks to give details of other professionals as partner, which indicates  that now practically it can be exercised
Further icai has issued FAQs on this which ICAI in detail explain about multidisciplinary firms
But this change wont be applicable to Nov 21 exams because it is after 30th April cutoff and it is not included in academic updates
